An Operator Before He Was a Broker

Before joining ValleyBiggs, Justin Harris spent seven years building companies from the inside — first as VP of Operations at a company approaching half a billion dollars in revenue, then as co-founder and COO of two startups, one of them a SaaS business. Both ventures eventually led to an exit, giving him a firsthand view of what a buyer is actually evaluating when they look at a company.

From Buyer to Broker

Justin also spent time on the acquisition side, buying and operating multiple e-commerce brands of his own. It was while searching for businesses to acquire that he was first introduced to the ValleyBiggs team, and after building, exiting, and buying companies himself, joining the brokerage as an advisor was a natural next step.

What He Brings to a Deal

Having sat in the operator’s chair, the founder’s chair, and the buyer’s chair, Justin works with sellers and buyers from a position of practical experience rather than theory — he’s lived through the operational detail that due diligence digs into, and the exit process that most sellers only go through once.

Family First

Justin and his wife, Aimee, have three children — Caed, Vivian, and Verity — plus a dog named Buddy who gets him up early most mornings. Outside of work, he’s usually watching his kids play sports, cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs, working out, or reading a leadership book.
